The Chairman of Chibok Local Government Area, Hon. Bana Lawan, was unable to speak to the ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ Group at Unity Fountain on Wednesday.
Hon. Lawan had planned to come yesterday to speak to the group and answer their questions concerning the people Chibok, but was unable to due to timing and the weather.
He apologized to the group for not being able to answer all their questions the previous day at the sit out because he had just arrived from a journey, and promised to talk to them in the following days.
He first came to the sit out on Tuesday, June 10, for a few minutes, and answered three questions. One of the members of the group asked if he had any daughters at the school where the abduction of 276 girls took place on April 14.
The Chairman said no, his oldest daughter was only 9.
Hon. Lawan will be in Abuja for about two weeks.
