APC Unveils Manifesto in Abuja

Ahead of the 2015 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday in Abuja presented its manifesto to the public at its first national summit.
 
Highlights of the manifesto are job creation, free education, state police, anti-corruption fight and security among others.

The party also plans a social welfare scheme for the less advantaged and build roads and power plants. It promised to manage better our natural resources, and will strengthen peace, and foreign policy.

The Draft Code of Ethics of the party was presented by all the 16 APC governors besides Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State, who was represented by his deputy.

In attendance at the event were leaders, chieftains and members of the APC including its interim national chairman Chief Bisi Akande, former head of state General Muhammadu Buhari, former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former vice president Atiku Abubakar, and former minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
