Methodist Church to Build Nursing School, Hospital in Abuja

The Abuja Archdiocese of the Methodist Church has said it plans to establish a School of Nursing and a Hospital in Abuja.

The newly ordained Archbishop of the church, Most Reverend Joseph Oche Job, made this known at the weekend during a Press Conference in Abuja before his ordination. He revealed that the Church has obtained the Certificate of Occupancy and was already preparing to mobilize to site for the projects.

“It was just last year that we gathered important Nigerians here in Abuja to tell them that we want to have a medical centre and School of Nursing where we can compete with any standard hospitals or schools of Nursing in Nigeria,” he stated, and promised that the project would be completed very soon.

He also pledged the church’s continued participation in the provision of healthcare and educational facilities for Nigerians along with its evangelical mission.
