Engineer Wanted by EFCC for Stealing N63m from His Employers

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has called for the arrest of Sylvester Osondu Okereke, a former employee of St Ives Bottling Company, for allegedly obtaining N63 million under false pretences.

“The public is hereby notified that Sylvester Osondu Okereke, alias Emmanuel Kelechi, an Electrical Engineer formerly with St Ives Bottling Company Limited, Gosa Village, Airport Road Abuja, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, and Obtaining Money under False Pretences totalling N63 million,” the EFCC stated in its appeal for help.

Okereke is 38 years old and from the Arochukwu local government area of Abia State, and is described as dark in complexion and 1.68m tall.

His last known address is No. 22, King of Kings Road, FHA, Lugbe FCT, Abuja, and he was last seen in Aba in Abia State.

“Anyone with useful information as to his whereabouts should contact the Commission in its Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt and Abuja offices or the nearest Police Station,” the EFCC said.
