Minister Declares Abuja Most Investment-Friendly City in Africa

The minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, has stated that Abuja remains the most attractive city in Africa for investors.
The minister made the remark at the Nigeria-Singapore Business and Investment Forum in Singapore. He said Abuja has the comparative advantage of being the capital of the most populous nation in Africa.

Investment opportunities in Abuja, the minister said, include waste management, city management and provision of infrastructure. He therefore urged Singaporean investors to take advantage of the limitless opportunities with the aim of taking Abuja to the next level while at the same time reaping benefits from their investment.

He added that the FCT could leverage on the experiences and successes of Singapore in order to make Abuja a world-class city.
